ah, he's just a misguided old fool. He works (until 30 days from now :P) so hard to vilify games because he hates them or really believes they're bad .....If he wasn't so ignorant I'd say let him defend idiot cases against videogames, but since he believes in it so dogmatically (that video gam...

pics and status reports
I'll show you pics when everything's wired up :P. I've been really busy at school, so I haven't had a chance to get that N64 mobo wired....but I did buy the screen (still hasn't come in :(), and will soon be getting my vacuum forming table remade (my old one was crap...this one will be much better ;...

I really want one, but will have to wait until 2009 to get one, as I don't have any money right now :(. It looks amazing, though, I can't wait to get my hands on one, eventually. I don't mind waiting, though, since it's the homebrew gaming part I'm interested in the longer I wait the better it'll ge...

yeah, I have all the pinouts and stuff already. The first board didn't work, though I admit I soldered a bit sloppily. I know the connections on the pins were good, and everything seemed to match up, but I think I screwed something up. The 7805 stopped working, I know that much :?... But I still hav...

Helping Hands
Buy it. This is an incredibly useful tool, especially for soldering SMT components. The magnifying glass helps solder to really small pins (how do you think I soldered the N64 Advance mobo ;)?) and the alligator clip "hands" keep the board or other components in an easy position to solder to. I wis...

yeah, the Pikachu N64 is normal sized, it just has a Pikachu added to an extended side. Why would Nintendo remake the board if the case isn't smaller? They wouldn't, so I would say that, logically, it is likely the N64 is the same size. Still, the size I got it to really isn't bad...practically an S...

As far as I can see, the only inner traces are ground. Everything else is either power, AV, cartridge input, or the expansion slot (which is, of course, useless :P). and I'll know the board works when I finish wiring the cartridge and power it on :P (which should be later today, as I'm done wiring t...
