Looking at my dead RD (copulate you Chinese power adapters with opposite polarity and same size as Genesis), the power switch and reset button will have to be relocated which should be fairly easy. you can't use an SDgecko as a memory card. You can, however, launch a homebrew tool that will let you back up/load saves off of the other memory card, so technically speaking you kinda can, however I've had a lot of problems messing around with save data, and even then it's been over a year or so s...

Wiikey saves games, and the only commercial game that won't work is Luigi's Mansion NTSC. With Swiss, that's practically fixed.

You still need something to switch it though. Splitters don't work. That's where the relays come in, although they might have too much electromagnetic interference when you think about it.

I would say you should get something smaller with more life.
