I'll prob take the Game Gear games but it would be good to know what they are so I don't get doubles of what I already have ;)

Yeah, that's gonna be damn hard to fix. You could go crazy and trace all the pins and solder to them but it's really not worth it. What size is the monitor? I got 2 here that I pulled from some old laptops (around 03) that maybe would work? I know compatibility is unlikely but hey ya never know.. An...

Here's a new pic of some extra work I did on the screen: http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/Segasonicfan/?action=view¤t=gameglassmodded.jpg Now it has an S-video input jack and an audio input jack. Now I can hook up just about anything to the screen and I may add a composite jack later on....

It's not RGB, but I suppose anything's better than Composite. Smile Yeah, sadly getting RGB from the Radica is impossible. The RGB encoder is built into the chip so there are no outputs to work with :( How exactly do you test capacitance? With a Multimeter. Hardly any of the ones on the market test...

OK, here's a schematic of the mod I did, the cap values are unknown for the time being since they are SMD and I don't have a way to test the values right now :/ Most everyone is prob going to use another Radica for this circuit anyway. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/Segasonicfan/Schematics/R...

Radica S VIDEO mod success ^_^
Okay, so I love the Radica and all, but lets face it....composite is ass. It's the biggest drawback to this awesome GOAC and ever since I saw 2 seperate video lines mixing when I first opened the unit (the 2 blue inductor chokes) I've been wanting to get Svid out of one. I gave up on the work a whil...

OK time for an update.. I sent off my ROM's to Viletim! (from SMS Power and GameSX forums) since he wanted to do work on it and is a friggin genius with this stuff. What's even better though is what I found at K Mart yesterday.... http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/Segasonicfan/newGG1.jpg http:/...

Yeah, I just bought 3 myself :) That price is just too good. I opened up the Sonic Gold and took pics: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/Segasonicfan/sonicgoldradica3.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/Segasonicfan/sonicgoldradica2.jpg\ http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/Segasonicfa...

Hey Krepticor, It's almost identical to the last chip I posted the pinout of. This is simply a newer revision with a slightly difference pinout but the exact same function. Pin 7: Connect Low (GND) for S-Video or Composite Input. Connect high (VCC) or leave floating for EXT RGB input Pin 3: Composit...

pencil tips, flux, and some patience will allow you to solder to that chip =) i had to do the same thing on my lcd. not a biggie just had to take my time. ....and a lot of experience. I could not have done this mod a couple years ago myself because I was not experienced enough with SMD work. I actu...

7" PSTwo LCD HACKED!!!!!!!!
Hey peeps, So I've seen these Pelican PSTwo screens for a while and was dying to buy one when they first game out. Well, I just had my chance since Gamestop dropped to the price of em down to $50 (everyone has apparently stopped carrying them). To give you an idea of what the original setup looks li...
