Re: phpBB3 time again
Pretty sweet stuff, I was wondering when we would switch over. One downside though is that all the links are now broken, not just the really old ones.

Looking good so far except that looks like way too much thermal grease on the chips. You only need a thin layer (just enough to make good contact between the heatsink and the chip). And never, ever use hot glue to mount a heatsink - it will most likely melt all over. I tend to use just a tiny spot o...

There isn't really that much that you need to know about the batteries. Get something that is at LEAST 3000mAh (4200-5000mAh is pretty awesome) and get a charger that will work for them. You can find all the info you need around here, but don't get overwhelmed by it all. Basically, find some li-ion ...

Whoa whoa whoa. Holding a grudge for what? What have you ever done to me? I realize that you have made other portables, I am a very active member around here you know. However you will notice that 99% of my posts are something useful - not just spam and stupid posts. And you have absolutely no room ...

C'mon SS, really. We all know that you (or anyone with a soldering iron and hot glue gun) can throw a bunch of electronics parts together like this. So enough with the ridiculous portables. At least do a different system or something. The more N64Ps you make, actually the LESS respect I have for you...

Well I agree with you partially. The insides are still poor quality (I even consider a lot of bacterias insides poor quality). Okay, maybe not "poor" but definitely not good quality. Way too much hot glue and the like. They are just put in place and then glued - in my opinion, that is poor quality. ...

Not to offend or anything, but SS, your portables are the very ugliest, poorest made of any on this whole website. Now I'm not saying that you can't make a nice portable, but all of yours are nothing to brag about - any of us could make one as nice in a week (for some of us, days or even hours). Lik...

Well, I really don't know that much about the whole N64 dev scene, but there are a few different threads scattered around here that may be helpful. Like this one.
