Re: Looking for a N64P or PS2P I will trade for one.
You would trade both of those, or one of those?
Re: Spambots
That is a solution, but a lot of the people here are from Europe, or other places in the world that would not get it, either. The solution we used on my site (ModRetro) was to just ban all of India and China. Like, the entire countries. :P They get a message saying that if they would like to registe...
Re: Spambots
The thing is, you don't actually need bots these days. A lot of spam is posted by low-paid workers in China or India, and getting through those spam prevention systems is no problem. Software can automate the entire process aside from the actual captcha/security question solving, so they can move pr...

Re: Bought an RGB modded N64, need advice
Have you contacting the seller? Who knows, he may have just used a case from a different model N64. Back when I was doing N64 mods, I had quite a few shells all lying about, and I doubt I would have bothered matching up the case to the board. On a side note, good to see you, Gruso; You were always o...

Wow, pretty large order! I wish I had a reason to be interested, but I cannot think of any.
What will you be doing with 500 cart connectors?

Re: Xbox360 slim laptop , some questions
Hey Razorbacktrack, Try posting a thread in this section of ModRetro, it is sort of a sister site to the BenHeck forums. http://forums.modretro.com/viewforum.php?f=37&sid=31e5bdca66412d42a02b1766a7b85c00" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If you read there, you will find a lot of informa...

Re: GBA SP in a Game Boy Pocket case?
EL backlighting has been done a number of times in gameboy pockets. Could arguably be easier than LED backlighting once the inverter is fit in. Really? I would love it if you could link me to those other times, I have not been able to find any. Bibin made a "guide" on 8bc years ago, but he admitted...

Re: FS- Crazy Deal of Parts!
That makes sense, but most of the time, when somebody sells something "as-is", it is because they do not know how to properly test the parts (Lots of sellers on eBay like that). You obviously know how to test the parts, though, you should spend the 20 minutes it would take to get a picture of stuff ...

Maybe because that was not on the market more than 3 years ago, when this thread was made?

Awh, that sucks. Using a bright LED is not so bad though, you can use cool colors! Glad you got the overclock to work!

Yes, I did, though I did a pretty thin coat to make sure the cart could still slide.

Re: Modded Gameboy Color, not much special....
No, it was just to make the surface a tiny bit rougher. That helps the paint stick better! Only use very high grit sandpaper, though, or you will end up with scratch marks on the plastic.

Re: Modded Gameboy Color, not much special....
I did not use plastic primer, I just made sure to clean the shell really, really well with soap and water, and also very slightly roughed it up with 1200 grit sandpaper. I did use clearcoat on the silver, but not on the grip paint. And no, not a bother at all. I love Gameboy mods, look forward to se...
