Re: Xbox 360 joystick on n64p pinout needed
Glad you asked :) The screws are star shaped and require a hollow bit....not happening. I went and got every size bit for a bit driving screwdriver and one of those precision screwdriver packages they sell at the pathetic hardware stores we have in NYC. I found the right flat head driver, mashed it ...

Re: Was the orginal xbox a 32 bit console?
Now I know this is an ancient thread, but technically the xbox is 32bit, most x86 processors (architecture in PCs) prior to ~2006 are only 32 bit. In fact, 32 bit operations are used far more frequently than 64 bit ones even on the n64 (this is a common practice in RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Comp...

Re: Help needed removing expansion slot
Thanks, I'll be sure to try that. I'm sure it at least works better than the add solder-->apply desoldering braid-->wait for cheap iron to heat braid-->soak up solder-->remove braid-->realize you missed the back of the pin-->repeat method.

Help needed removing expansion slot
I have desoldered (with braid, and later with an iron) all of the pins. The connector wiggles, but just as it gets close to coming off, it doesn't move anymore. I have tried using a screw driver to pry it off but I cant do it anymore with out breaking other components on the board. Does anyone have ...

FS: (made to order) Variable Benchtop PSU
I can make variable benchtop PSUs similar to what the Longhorn Engineer built. http://longhornengineer.com/images/howto/PSU/DSCN3343.jpg I would like to sell these for cost of parts + 50-100 dollar fee (depends on how busy I am). All proceeds go to the purchase of two of these http://www.newegg.com/...

Xbox 360 joystick on n64p pinout needed
Hey guys! I was playing N64 games on my pc using one of those Xbox 360 controllers for windows, and it occurred to me that the durability of the joysticks was even better (plus less dead zone) than that of the Gamecube sticks. As a result I'd like to do my n64p with a Xbox 360 joystick. If any of yo...
