Re: peltier junction
Does anyone have experience in using peltier junction as a heatsink? Well. A peltier junction doesn't eliminate the need for a heatsink. It makes one side of it cold and the other hot in proportional amounts. So if you're using the cold side of it to cool off something that's hot (like a processor)...

MGC 2012 thread!
Well, I started this thread about the same time last year , so why not continue tradition of building up the hype early? For those that don't know, MGC is the Midwest Gaming Classic, which is three days of gaming madness in Brookfield, WI (near Milwaukee). More info at their website . Hopefully this...

Bump! I've been looking around for an external SCSI CDROM, and it's proving difficult to find without spending way too much money.

It's a caching thing. Rescended, if you hit shift+f5 to refresh right after you edit a post, it'll show up.bicostp wrote:I'm not sure why that's suddenly an issue; my theory is a timezone setting on the server.

Re: Alienware (Desktop or Laptop), which is better for me
The extra thermal display is primarily for looks. You can add it if you like the look of it. It doesn't really serve any functional need. I'd go for one of these two: Linksys E2500 Advanced Dual-Band N Router Linksys E4200 Maximum Performance Dual-Band N Router I'd get the E2500 if you're using most...

Re: Alienware (Desktop or Laptop), which is better for me

Re: Alienware (Desktop or Laptop), which is better for me
I didn't ACTUALLY mean build a laptop out of parts, I meant to go onto the dell website and pe-ruse their alienware laptops and make one by choosing the parts themselves (select hard drive, windows 7 ultimate, what video card, etc, you know what im trying to say) for desktops, I MIGHT just build my...

Re: Alienware (Desktop or Laptop), which is better for me
After re-reading my post, I wasn't all that clear. Have you considered building your own gaming desktop ? Don't try to build a laptop, if you decide you want a gaming laptop get the Alienware. The parts selection for building your own laptop is pretty limited, which takes away the primary reason of ...

Re: compatability between the Xbox 360 pro and the i Book g4
Ok this might be a dumb question but would the 360 be compatible with some of the stuff on the inside of the iBook g4 like the screen by chance because I plan on making a 360 laptop using some of the 115 page instructions i found online courtisy of Ben Heck himself or at least i think In short, no....
