Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Is anyone also having problems with Wave Race saving? Is the problem repeatable? Or is it something that happens very occasionally? Email me a EEP save file at the support address and I'll try to replicate it. I was using a z64 ROM (I don't remember where I got it from). Now I'm using a n64 ROM fro...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Hello Marshall! Hope you're doing ok. I just want to report that I can't save my progress with Wave Race 64. I do press reset and all, and it's the only game I have problem with so far. Also, I have a suggestion for the next firmware: it'd be cool to have a combination of buttons reset the console a...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Hello 64drive followers/owners/creator. Are there any news on future updates? Cheat code support? Better MP3 player? Instructions on how to encode videos for this cart?

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Well, yeah, but you'd have to encode it somehow and make a xx.n64 file from it. Marshall hasn't shared the secret yet. There's a video encoded like this in an earlier post from Marshall.

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
^^it's probably the reflow problem that Marshall mentions in his last post. Your only option would be to send it back for a replacement. Write to the retroactive support email address describing your problem.

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
I can't wait to see that new update Marshall! I just wanted to drop by a suggestion: you should update your purchase page with the average waiting time at the moment, as some people at Nintendoage are starting to get anxious (and the low e-mail response rate doesn't help either). I must say I always...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Just wanted to say I compared the 64drive running Mario Kart, and the original cart. THey're the same, so it was a wrong impression. I'm very happy with my unit. Have you guys received different cart colors from Marshall? mine's blue with a brownish label :) . And now, some stuff I'd suggest as upda...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
The main races, single or multiplayer races, are perfect, but battle is slightly slow. I don't think it's a defect on the cart, maybe some software bug. I dunno... I'll check an actual cart side to side, and see if it's for real, or if I'm imagining things.
Any other game runs perfect IMO

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Can somebody verify this? I noticed that in Mario Kart 64, the gameplay speed during battle, at least in the Big Donut stage is noticeably lower. I think it's also the case in the Skycrapper.

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Well, I got a Kingston microSD 8 GB card. Now what happens (and it also happens to the CF card) is that the small circle at the center appears, spins a little, and the screen goes black. If I put the 64drive without any card, it just says there's no card, with the 64drive logo. I found out that if I...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
^^I hope it's that. Though it would be strange that my NES Powerpak has worked without any failure with this card, and now it presents problems with the 64drive. I think I'll get a nice Kingston MicroSD with enough capacity for the full library anyways, that should work.

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
...was running perfectly until now :( . I was playing a game (don't remember which), then I turned off the console to go to the menu, as I've been doing since yesterday. When I turned it on, the 64drive told me there wasn't a FAT32 partition. I checked my CF card on my PC, and it was fine, the files...
