Re: Nintendo 64 Motherboard Revisions/Serials Info Request
NUS-CPU-04 NS170611204 Evidently, I was avoiding sixes that day. Not a prob. I also have a clear pink one NUS-CPU-08-1 NS291430616 (So close to beating that record!) Thanks very much, I have added both serials to the list :D You still hold the record for the highest US serial with your other N64 co...

Re: Dr Neo, The Myth 64 cart (nintendo 64 flash cart)
Sorry to bump this thread, but I thought some people might like to read my 'Preliminary Review' of the NEO N64 Myth Cart. This review is still a bit of a work in progress, and its not the 'Final Review' because certain things are still under development (Such as a menu system) I hope you enjoy readi...

Yes, I thought that was odd I did think Dr.neo would wait for the testing results before they would start selling it at retail.thewise1 wrote:Strange how it's for sale and they sent one to link for testing.

Re: Dr Neo, The Myth 64 cart (nintendo 64 flash cart)
looks like link83 and marshallh are getting theirs  Yes, I was quite surprised but happy to hear I had been chosen to test it :D I wasn't sure if Dr.neo would think I was 'qualified' enough, since I dont know N64 coding. I dont know when exactly it will be arriving, but when it does I would lo...

I didn't have flash on, but I can try getting a better one later with it :D no, this one had a grey cart door. Thats really nice of you :) but please don't feel you have to go to any more trouble unless you want to. However, if it helps at all when using no flash I have found that bright sunlight c...

Re: N64 Gamepad complete disassembly
You can buy cans of compressed air at computer stores or online, its really useful stuff to have around for cleaning out dust from PC's etc. If you buy some just remember to keep the can mostly upright when you use it because its full of liquid compressed air which will leak out if your tilt the can...

Re: N64 Gamepad complete disassembly
Sorry to bump this thread slightly, but I just wanted to let the OP know that I have washed quite a few N64 controller casings with no problems :) I really dont think you can remove that spring, but what I usually do is wash the controller casing with warm soapy water, cleaning all the holes/crevice...

Re: Nintendo 64 Motherboard Revisions/Serials Info Request
NS610192102 I think it's a refurb though. probably is. btw, it's a mav-nus. Hmm interesting, another 'NS6' serial - by any chance do you know if this N64 is originally from Canada? Also, just to double check, does this N64 have an 'NUS-CPU-05' motherboard, or an 'NUS-CPU-05-1'? (Important differenc...

Re: Nintendo 64 Motherboard Revisions/Serials Info Request
It has "not for resale" or something like that stamped/melted into the plastic on the bottom, and the Mario 64 cartridge has a NFR sticker on it. I'll double check when I get home from work. Other than that it looks and acts exactly the same as any other N64 I've ever used. I also have a Gameboy De...
