Re: Interest in Starcraft LAN at MGC
To tell you the truth its been a long time since I played starcraft, but it would be cool if I was there. Prolly not going to be in the LAN from home. Aww. We're Benheckers, we can certainly figure out a way to make it work if you wanted to. :D Actually, bicostp, I was thinking of having everyone o...

The Droid may be, but I fail to see how Android isbassmasta wrote: Android is limited by the browser too (but at least it has/will have Flash!). And Pandora has the full keyboard and controls, which the Mini 5 won't.

Re: Using ssh over the internet
OK, I set up the static IP address. (lets say its 192.168.1.203) So now I forward port 22 to 192.168.1.203. Then how do I access it from outside my LAN? edit: It worked when I tried user@outsideip. Now, all it does security wise now, is tell me when I try and access a new IP for the first time, that...

Using ssh over the internet
Well, I got off my ass and set up that server I was talking about. (Just need to work on the hard drive situation.) I installed ssh on the server, as well as the client, and can access it perfectly from the terminal. Now the big question... How do I do this from a much further remote location? :P (O...

Multi-touch surfaces
(This all refers to DIY MT surfaces.) I was looking up information on multi-touch surfaces, and it got me thinking. (Mostly with the camera portion) How deep do you actually need the box to be, in order for the surface to be picked up. I realize its proportional to the size of the surface, but for a...

Re: Old Current Gen Games
For starters, I would highly recommend Mass Effect and BioShock. Both would seem to be up your alley given that you picked up Fable 2 and Dead Space already. I started with Fable 2 for a little bit. It was alright, got up to the Abbot and his stuff. My one major gripe is the controls, and how your ...

Old Current Gen Games
I stopped by play n trade today to see what they had, and ended up leaving with Fable 2 and Dead Space, with their 2 for $20 deal. I haven't played either before, so I'm excited to sit down and play some this weekend. What other games do you guys recommend? What older current gen games have ya'll be...

Re: Vote for my first portable
I'm really leaning towards a NOAC in a gameboy case. I'd really like to use a gameboy color case, and I know I've seen it at least once. (Gannon I think? Maybe Skye?) If someone could tell me the NOAC that would fit into that, I'd be much grateful.

Vote for my first portable
OK, well, I think I'm finally going to buckle down and get some sort of portable done. (After being here so long, I figure its about time to get something done) I've "narrowed" it down to these: N64- Its a kickass system, what can I say. Lots of information on it, but at the same time, most ex...

Re: guitar
The easiest song you can learn is "Horse With No Name" by America. Two chords, alternating, with a rather easy rhythm. Something I'd say you should really work on at first, is the ability to hear a rhythm and play it with your right hand, even if its over just one chord. When I gave lessons, the kid...

Re: Setting up a home server
I don't know. I just really like the idea of setting up a server, and I have a bunch of extra hardware I'm not using, so I might as well put it to good use, no? It's also some good practice for me, seeing as I'd like to start building computers for people in the future. Maybe I'll just wait a little...
