RGB FIX: Play in Component, Watch in RGB

This is to inform people with a PS2 that you CAN watch DVD Movies in FULL RGB!!!! Of course this has been untested by ME, but someone must reveal this secret. I found out about this when i went to a modchip site. They had several pics of V1-V4 models with a pic that said "Connect these 2 Points" Thi...

I was messing around with my fried LCD motherboard and connected the 5v pin onthe front of the screen to a small chip labeled DVI and it has a lead to the composite in line. I tapped it and it made a small spark. The screen swithed off for a moment and came back on, i connected a headphone connector...

Would 8AA NiMH batteries at 2300mAh a piece add up to be 18400mAh? Just wondering 'cause when you hook up batteries in series the voltage is added on as well. If so i think iI'll get these that come with a charger. http://cgi.ebay.com/12-AA-2300MaH-RECHARGABLE-BATTERIES-2-HOUR-CHARGER_W0QQitemZ75415...

mAh Rating for Old PS2

I need to know about the old ps2's maximum mAh rating. This battery seems to be very cheaply priced and a good mAh rating. Plan on using a DC-DC converter to reduce it to 12V, and power the PSone screen off of SONY's camcorder battery, 7.2V @8000mAh. I can hopefully run the PS2 for about 2 hours, an...

segasonicfan, do you think that you could perform a Component video mode switch? Same thing as s-video, but for component? This would really help out sice the ps2 overrides rgb for component when playing dvd's. also video quality would bre better than s-video

it says right in the picture where you connect chroma. Lift up the cap and solder the wire to it. And the second pic has two wires because one is connecting luma from the back of the board to the compsite in on the front. The other is where the luma signal is coming from. -Segasonicfan yeah, i get ...

heres my untested strategy- get a small rectangular piece of plastic, thin and hard. Then use some spray adhesive to the BACK of the light box to make it sturdy. Then cut a peice of aluminum foil, and tape it to the inside of the light box-tightly. An option is to heat the aluminum and get all the w...
