Yes, well kind of, have you read around the forums, i have been reading for about 4 months now, and if you put too much voltage in it will fry it also.


btw what type of os was the computer running before you tried to install osx86, I was thinking about installing it on an asus

Yes that is what I was talking about, and btw this is my first portable too, but i can take apart and put together compters in about 15 minutes, the old gateways, what did you do with your computer?

If this is your first portable then maybe you could PM turbo tax 1.0 he did the same thing and you could use all the advice you can get!

If you don't want to fry your mobo then you can work on anti-static surfaces i.e hardwood or bubble wrap or something and you don't want to work on carpet.
