Re: VGA output via fpga
Also, I assume that at the moment it linedoubles 240p games to give 480p? So I just wondered if you also plan to support 480i, 288p and 576i modes? (I think those are the N64's main video output modes?) AFAIK, it doubles the scanrate from 15hz to about 31hz, which is the VGA standard. The refresh r...

- Built in default 6102 CIC, - Supports 99.9% of all known images, Are these two things related? i.e. Will the games that use the 6105 [Banjo Tooie, Jet Force Gemini, etc] not load? Or is there some fancy electronic wizardry to get around this? If so, what does that 0.1% include? Obscure bootlegs? ...

Re: Feasibility question - digital camera with large lcd display
Yeah, most cameras support composite-out right out of the box. Should be relatively easy that way.
Edit: also, you can do it very cheaply if you get a camera with a broken screen. You won't need the original screen anyway.

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Is it wise to post the EAGLE schematics? I dunno. I wouldn't want people to replicate my hard effort and work. He didn't post the actual file itself, so someone would have to replicate it by following the traces, which they also could do when they are for sale. The real work is probably in the soft...

Picked up 7 Playstation games and 2 PC games for $3 total. Guy just wanted 'em gone.
I also recently found a Miracle piano. It's the same one that came out for NES, but the hookups and documentation are for Mac. Not sure what to do with it - I thought it was the NES one when I purchased. Oh well.

That'd actually be pretty hilarious. Bonus points if you can accomplish a smoldering effect or whooshing sound.bicostp wrote:I plan to round up a bunch of old clothes and leave sets of shirts, shoes, and pants in random places.

I found a copy of Steel Battalion. And the monstrous controller.
I also found some other XBox titles, and a few NGage games for lulz.

Any of those terrible Asylum films, like Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, or the fakey Sherlock Holmes one they did. Or Steve Oedekirk's Thumb movies, although those are kinda short.
Fantastic idea in general, though!
