I have a 300OHM resistor would that be ok to use?

Hey,

I am trying to light 2 3MM leds from a USB power source, these are the led stats:

3500 MCD, 3mm
MCD 2500-3500
Vf(3.0-3.4)

I have tons of 300 OHM resistors lying around, I am wondering is this resistor safe to use with LED being powered by a USB?

Can anyone link me to a CNC machine that is relativley cheap and affordable and can be used for soley case designing? I am not looking for a HUGE one that go for $1000+ just a small one to do simple cuts

Do many people here make cases with CNC machines? I've found some for fairly cheap on eBay, and would be willing to buy one to mod stuff. Also, is it hard to make bends and curves in a case? not looking at decals, i was ripping apart a electronic device and the "face plate" was a thick plastic like sticker. its similar to a seal i guess on electronic devices to hide a screw if you can visualize what I mean..

Anyone know where I can get those adhesive plastc stickers often seen on professional products? basically its a sticky piece of plastic

few more questions popped my mind, can I use my recently purchased 12 gauge wire for all 3 cables (ground, voltage)? And what is the standard gauge of wires? Theres lost of extensionse I have to do make and they all are relativley thin and same size, main type of wire size seen in most electronics, ...

Just went out and bought a 12 gauge wire to save me the trouble and be safe

Does a power extension cord have a 12-14 gauge wire inside them? I ripped it open and it had 3 diffrent colored wires, and they were pretty thick...thanks.

What gauge wire do you guys recommend for this job? I was thinking about using the wires off a 3 prong extension cable that I accedintly ripped a few days ago.

Is IPS weldon instant bonding like hot glue or do you have to wait like 24hrs for it to dry?

I think I am going to just go out and buy some heat shrink tubes to get the job done nice and neat.
