Re: Gathering info for first project

I wouldn't start out making a portable 64 as it is harder than most... significantly easier than the 360 for sure, but it doesn't even sound like you're really making a portable, either. I'd recommend if you want bigger than a psone screen (5") than you could use a digital picture frame with an av i...

Re: Porta64 (Name Pending) - LOG [UPDATED]

You know you could easily buy an expansion pak for like five bucks (or less i fyou get a 3rd party one)...

Honestly, I'm pretty new to this as well... BUT, rule of thumb those parts are all there for a reason. You could desolder all of the tuner boxes, etc. but I wouldn't desolder the volume knob, of the headphone jack, becasue then the speakers won't work. If you're not working with speakers, go ahead.....

Re: Psone Led mod darker than original backlight

Yo man I ran into this problem too... You can trick the screen into making it brighter by bypassing the component "CV23". To do this just ad a bit of wire around the component. It's beside the copper oval shape with "SB3.57954" on it. See if that helps. :D If you've already done that... well, try to...
