When I was in the 4th grade we lost our class hamster. To catch it, we placed sunflower seeds up a ramp, onto a ruler overhanging a garbage can. When he went to eat the sunflower seeds on the end of the ruler, it tipped and was trapped in the can. _______ | | \ \ / \ Kinda funny, but it worked.

If you are going to take every component off the boards, take the time to organize. I made that mistake and ended taking a day to sort things out so if I ever needed something I knew where it was. I hate throwing things out that are perfectly good, and I hate clutter. Otherwise I would keep the old ...

There have been multiple NOAC gameboys. Also, one of the first NES portables was made using a Nomad. I believe it was Kevin Horton. Yup. Link

Where do you get one? I didn't find it in shops. :(
I've never seen a radio shack with one out of stock. It'll be right beside the soldering irons etc.

My solution? I use my big vacuum cleaner and have a cardboard cone on it. Sucks away all solder. Wouldn't recommend it though, I sucked up countless components in the vacuum. Maybe a modified handvac, but I definitely wouldn't recommend that method. Especially when a pump is less than 10 doll...

I made a motorized scooter out of an old gas powered rototiller motor. It was pretty amazing. I used a centrifugal clutch. I used wheels off of a hand trolley and used a chain drive. I had an aluminum platform, and old bmx bike parts for the handlebars. I used the brake mechanism to control the thro...

AVG antivirus seems to be less resource hungry than AVAST antivirus. I have AVG with the resident scanner (24/7 scanner) and control center disabled, so pretty much all it does is sit in the background until it does the scheduled scan. This is just because my laptop only has 256MB of RAM, so the ex...

Set it to "Stereo Mix" to record what the sound card is producing.

I do not believe there is an answer. I have been doing this since I was about 9 years old and have never found a solution. I'm 22 now, so either I am extremely stupid, or a solution does not exist.
