From everything I read about osx86 it seems like the developers recommend that you buy the software if you plan on installing it, even if the version you installed was a tweaked downloaded version.

I don't know if this is a stupid question, but did you download and reinstall all the drivers? Windows only comes with standard generic drivers and not the specialized drivers needed for the countless laptop configurations. For example, on my laptop once I format the hdd and reinstall windows the on...

I'm going to go ahead and say it...

I think you are using too much epoxy. Unless you are going for a textured/burnt skin look you should probably be carefull. Epoxy isn't exactly that easy to sand!

I'm not going to lie. I've never seen that game before. You should really consider renaming your screen shots... Claymates for the SNES

I work for a government owned Insurance Agency doing IT support. Sort of a temp job until I finish my degree. Seems like a lot of people on this forum have IT jobs. I guess it helps to tinker :)

This topic is about a week old, but I thought I should add my experiences to it. I bent the bottom row of pins up on my nes and it didn't work unless I didn't push the cart down, but left it up. It was also harder to push it in. Try that if you can't get it to work. Actually a month and two weeks, ...

You could always buy one of those portable HD enclosures and put the files on your desktop pc. Question, did you try booting it in safe mode?

I ran into a problem similar to this this week at work. Even after I tried a few things I was unable to repair the corrupted registry.

If you had a reference picture of the weapon, it might help. It looks like a good start, but I don't want to comment on a replica of a gun I don't remember what it looks like.

Man, I said before that my first game was Downland, but now that I think about it. It might have been Jump Joe or Choplifter for my old Tandy computer. 4kb ram baby! If anyone remembers Jump Joe, basically you are a Janitor (stickman) who has to collect keys to finish the level. You must do this whi...

Getting that board prototyped would probably cost you as much as a powerpak. Also, it doesn't have good mapper support so you wouldn't be able to play most rare games anyways.

Thanks for posting that though. I will add it to my favorites. I had never seen that before.
