#1 Like most smt crap you can just apply minimal heat and pull it off, I had a broken N64 and ripped it off, but no pads came off so its okay :wink: I used ultra ATA ide cable and relocated the slot. Press F5 F2 or Del tp make your cd boot, in the bios settings. I use Ubuntu and I hate it. I could't get Solaris to work with my video card though.

Its not that bad if you can solder fairly well or wire wrap. I remember seeing a schematic in a book awhile back. I'll try to dig it up. I just gotta find something to test it with.
