My 360 VGA Mod

This is my take on Ben's Xbox 360 VGA Mod . Spent a good chunk of the weekend working on it, but it was worth it. Now I can better see my friend sneaking about in Gears of War, and I've definitely got better ways to spend $40 than on A CABLE. Changed a few things up though. Had to go with a more sle...

This depends on what type of material you're using, but for general plastic-to-plastic bonding, "plastic welder" epoxy gets my vote for sure. It dries an ugly cream color though. There's also your standard 2-ton epoxy that dries clear, and it's pretty darn strong, but lack that certain "holy crap!" ...

Just to be sure, the 72-pin one is this: http://i11.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/b9/6e/dfce_1.JPG not this: http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sell/SSProfiles/10054384/Images/SNGgenie.JPG Right? Yep, that's the one! The second one is for SNES, and for the record, I wouldn't use it for SNES projects. (No conn...

May I suggest this.

And you don't have to get them from TAP. Most plastic supply places carry tons of useful little parts like that for pennies.

If you're willing to sacrifice your Game Genie, then yes, that's your best bet. No question. (I've murdered at least 10 so far, myself! I prefer them). The connectors are pretty easy to remove, too. They're just soldered to some pads on the board inside.

(Apologies in advance if this double-posts. My first try seems to have failed). *ahem* If I were you I'd DEFINITELY use the bottom half of the old 72. If I remember correctly, the NES's 72-pin connector has a different pin spacing than standard floppy connectors (or most other connectors, for that m...

Also do you have info on the 5 pins where the rf box is soldered to?

Damn! Are you partially blind in that eye or did you only burn part of the pupil? Problems with depth perception? Amazingly, no! It stung a little bit, but it was more shock than anything else. I suppose it had the potential to be much worse, but I guess I just got lucky. That combined with MULTIPL...

My apologies for reviving a topic which hasn't seen activity for nearly a month, but I almost started a similar topic just now, then thought "gee, I should probably search first". Which brings me here.

*ahem*

Solder in the eye. Heard/felt it fizzle out in my eyeball juices and everything.

Yukk Heineken tastes like piss, don't tell me you actually drink that :? Lucky for me, my sense of taste has been dulled from years of smoking. But for the record, most beer tastes like piss. definitely an acquired thang. Fat Tire is my personal favorite, but Heineken will definitely do in a...

Dammit I got beaten on longest hair in the forums :? Just wait a little while, you'll catch up. My mop grows horribly slow. That's one crazy mustache. It looks like it got mauled by something. Good eye! You see, I still owe this badger two grand, I squandered most of it, one thing led to another...
