The battery keeps settings saved like the System Configuration on the PS2. But yer all it does really is save settings or in Gameboy games saves the file, like open a gameboy game and take out the battery then the game won't save so long story short.... It saves data. Cheers^_^

With Xbox it can be done It takes a Hatachi Drive i have one its a lot better and faster loading, but with ps2 no, can't do it not possible i have tried because ps2 has a ps2 cable but xbox has a IDE cable, best way to get faster loads for the ps2 is buy a 3rd party laser (always seems that 3rd part...

All i have to do really is the screen and i was thinking around 12" would do nicely. I have still been working one the CF card mod for the GC with very little results but still results none the less. I laugh out loud at 2.25" as i have gotten the gamecube laptop thinner than that. i might start a thread about it soon with full detail and pics. Cheers for now^_^

I have the SDK for Gamecube and PS2, and also i have months of time on my hands. I'll have a look into it more and i'll evaluate the situation. Anyway i will be back in a couple of hours i need to go buy another GameCube i just fried my 3rd GC in 2 Months, Man im having fun :roll: . Well until later...

Ok sorry about the title it doesnt say much. I have been bored at the moment with my PS2 Laptop and GC Laptop on hold until more parts arrive (my secret projects have been revealed). Umm.. first off what is a SMD. Second i thing i could solder a 144 pin TQFP as i have soldered a 80 pin TQFP. I have many soldering iron tips one of them is almost the size of a needle. I could also buy the JTAG Programming thing. Finally what is the NNN. Cheers^_^

Nope PS2 doesn't read DVD+/-RW but it does read DVD+R but the prefered type is DVD-R. I have tried all of these media burning the same game on all types of disc format and DVD-R is the best. Cheers^_^
