Re: Laptop (computer) cooling methods

Does unscrewing the back panel to clean the fans really void your warranty? Does your laptop have one of those 'Void if removed' stickers on the backplate? Cleaning the fans out would really help with with the overheating/noise issues, more so than your current makeshift methods

Re: cutting a plexiglass window - what kind of dremel?

I don't own a 400 XPR but based on its specification, I'd say it was a good choice :) Just make sure you take it slow so you don't chip/melt the plastic.

I got mine the other day, only took 1 day to ship, pretty impressed. Took it apart, looks like a standard Super Joy III board, it's pretty small, and seems to follow G-Force's pinouts, I haven't had much time to test yet.

Nintendo being the brand and NES being the system. Makes sense kind of but a bit redundant yes. Like people saying SWAT team. Actually, SWAT stands for 'Special Weapons and Tactics', so saying team after it is perfectly valid :wink: Great stuff Kaos, looking forward to seeing more of your stuff! :)

@Mario

He's ordered the PCB, now he's got to wait for it to be printed and shipped, then he can start soldering.

Great job ER, congratulations on getting this far when so few people (about 1 other, maybe :P) have. Godspeed indeed, and do us proud! :D
