What's the 5th wire? *runs off to desolder 16 wires he's already soldered in*Gamelver wrote:well, I only used four wires because the GC only runs off 4 voltages. A little reverse engineering told me that
. Makes it much easier to simply solder 5 wires rather than 22.

I can't wait to take the GC on a chip/GC emulator out that God,heck,The N64/Snes/NES/Genisis one two!!! Also,I think the it might be mainly soft ware,so I think some one could replace the sensor with a touch screen. It's emulated. GC is emulated on the Wii PPC since the architecture is nearly ident...

that's just about perfect :)! The 1.9V has a few wrong pins, I think (from what I remember on wiring my last regulator :P) but it doesn't really matter, as the 1.9V connects with ground for some reason. If you could, change the diagram to show on the GC part that pins 21 and 10 should be together, ...

All right here's a pinout of the power regulator voltages: first of all here's how the power regulator board looks: http://img60.exs.cx/img60/5512/powerregulator.jpg all you really have to worry about are pins 12-22. pin 13 is 3.4v, pins 16-18 are 1.9v, pin 21 is 12v, and pin 22 is 5v. also you hav...

I grinded the heat sink down by half.. I'm going to grind off the left side to fit the fan there. That way I can have the memory card at the back where I was going to have the fan. I started splodging together the old cooling paste on the heat sink and man does that stuff suck! I'm going to solder e...

You're using some sort of CPU Coolant, right? That should take at least 30F off the tempurature...(& then of course do away w/ the original coolant-stuff, if any (Use Rubbing alcohol :p)) I was going to go and buy some during the week.. I've scraped off the old thermal crap because its useless. I s...

360 has met its maker.. Since it's launch it's only sold about 10 million with no competition and has struggled in Japan. When PS3 and Wii arrive, it's going to be a no hope situation for Japan, and chances are it will go the way of Dreamcast. Microsoft need a radical plan and they need to execute i...

Still don't have the cable. Anyway back on topic. Do away with the controller ports and have only 2 or keep them all? Or should I have the ports stick out of the case and keep them on the board? Either way I intend to remove the reset switch and replace it with a smaller alternative. Suggestions? I'...

Just curious, but is there any chance of you using a progressive screen on the GC Micro? (It's just that NO ONE has the "Nintendo.com exclusive" Progressive cable, & now would be a good chance to use that unused circuitry...damn I wish I had that cable... My TV has progressive, but I don't have a p...

I agree. Microsoft and Sony bump their prices because they can. People will willingly buy their system at the price they set it as. Nintendo set their price to be affordable at launch. PS2 and Xbox now cost nearly the same as the Gamecube does. If Gamecube had DVD playback support I think it would h...
