Nope, Wii will not be region free, which sucks.

Show off your gaming set-up here! *56K warning!*

http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/8382/gamingsetup91806zs6.jpg Here you can see my older-than-dirt, color-most-of-the-time Sony 19" TV. It may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. 8) I have all my game systems (NES, N64, GC, PS2, Xbox) connected to my fancy automatic video switche...

I think that even on a price:durability ratio, I'd be a bigger fan of optical media if they where kept in a permanent encasing. Try going to GameStop & getting a mint-condition used CD or DVD game. (PS1 PS2 GC xBox & DC) The optical-storage gaming generation (last, present, & next generation) will ...

I say snes, but in all actuallity you should look at gross profit from the consoles, not the sales. I disagree with that. Sega was a relatively new company for gaming (in the consumer's eyes at least; yes they had the master system but that wasn't all that popular), and needed to prove themselves t...

How I feel about next-gen consoles: Wii: Will get it. Like Nintendo. It's the cheapest. 360: Might buy it later. PS3: Naw, but maybe if the price goes down later. Almost the same as me. I plan on getting Wii at launch and Xbox 360 when the price drops at least $100 so I can get the good one for $30...

I wonder what the case material is. It would be nice it it were aluminum like those laptops they released a few years back. Honestly I would be significantly more willing to buy if they were equipped with metal cases.
They have aluminum casing, just like my mini. 8)
