Re: Cart emulator progress thread
I will be advertising / displaying this on my website for sure. Just to good Marshall... I will add the images under eStore and on the Homepage soon for you if thats ok. Its like free promotion! If I were you, I'd wait until I had mine... massive attention to this can lead to a shortage of units, a...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
oh OK I see, dose something like this exist for the super Nintendo?| Another option is RetroUSB's Super Powerpak. http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=84" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I have the NES Powerpak, and works great. I suppose this one is good too.

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
oh, btw the text on the site is boilerplate legal, and has nothing to do with the product warranty, because it's not for sale yet. Now, my only great concern is the following: where do I put my damn money (shoves money into DVD drive)? :) Joke aside, I'm glad to hear this. this is gonna be great, t...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
The thing you have to keep in mind is Marshall is NOT a major manufacture, he isnt having a production run of these build or anything like that. he had the PCBs printed and is assembling everything by hand. expecting there to be a warranty on something like that is like expecting there to be a warr...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
I have another concern. I noticed the 64drive page states in small print that there's no warranty. Product sold as is. So, if anything goes wrong, I'm out of 199 dollars? I mean, Retrozone does have warranty for the Powerpak (5 years! how's that, way better than Nintendo or Sony). How would Marshal...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Now that Marshall answered my question about international shipping through mail(response = yes), I'm just worried about the initial run... will he make enough units to satisfy demand? when they run out, how long will it take for him to make more? I know he said he wouldn't do pre-orders, but I'd ha...

Re: Nes cartridge SD card?
If you like the NES a lot, I'd say getting a Powerpak is worth every penny. It allows for cool stuff you can't have with regular carts: - 97% of games in the NES library (licensed and unlicensed) work - From the ones that don't work, the cool ones are relatively easy to get, the rest are crappy - In...

Re: Nes cartridge SD card?
I'm not tech savvy, but from what I know, doing an NES flashcart is far from simple. The big problem with it is that different games require different special chips that came in their original carts. The NES alone can't perform as well on its own without the help of these things. To learn more, read...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Hey there, I just registered to the forum, but I've been following Marshall's project since last year, patiently waiting, and now I happily see it's close to completion! How exciting :D . I really hope he'll send to Mexico, please tell me if it'll be so! Well, that's all. Thank you for what you're a...
