However, I want to replace the AA compartment with a 3.7V Li-Ion battery from a GBA SP. I understand you need a protection circuit such as http://www.batter...

That means that different parts of the computer a...

The only thing I'm not 100% sure on is the power supply to the light. The AGS-001 has a separate tab from the video ribbon that has the power +/- on it. ...

Pretty badass. Any chance you could post a tutorial or additional shots of the inside?

Re: GBA screen swap

Hey, I just registered too. The best approach to your project is to swap the shells of your two Gameboys. Take the insides of the AGS-101 and put it in the AGS-001 shell. Everything should fit perfectly. Removing a backlight and then working it onto a screen intended for a frontlight is way more wor...

Re: Sega Nomad LCD screen mod help

EDIT EDIT: I feel sooo dumb. to myself. Hopefully, no one has been reading my comments on this thread so far. I did this mod recently and didn't run into anyone problems like that. If you ordered the recommended LCD monitor, the LCD is originally attached to an extension ribbon cable that...
