Re: PS2 Slim plus fan

I have a portable diagram but you can easily figure it out trust me. Just attach positive to positive and negative to negative. I have a ps2 wire diagram in the ps2/Xbox/game cube thread so just ignore all of the extra stuff on it and look at the + and - on the ps2 motherboard. I hope this helps you!

Re: PS2 Slim plus fan

Hey there and welcome!

There are a few ways you can do this. You can actually solder the positive and negative battery to the bottom of the dc jack on the ps2. Because the ps2 has a power cord that runs st 5amps you should be fine.

Re: PS2 slim questions

What you want is the SCPH-7900x! They are half the size and can run off of 7.2v just fine so no step down just hook it up to a ps1 screen . This is what I am using on my next ps2 portable. Also free mcboot works for that same model so you can boot games from external.

Re: Ps2 Portable

There isn't a disk drive instead there is a external hard drive or flash drive to boot your games from. I find it more feasible than carrying a stack of games around and letting them get broken or scratched up.

No problem BicoSTP! It doesn't bother me all to much and I am glad I could make my account again before someone made another under my name. When the site went down it almost looked like a ddos injection (Denial if System Operations Attack). PM me if you need some security ideas for phpbb. I might be...
