I believe it not enough amps. It outputs 12V without a load (without being wired to he screen) but when wired to the screen, it makes a high pitched sound and then shut off. It even went down to only 7v when the n64 was wired to the batteries too.

Yeah, sorry about that. I stopped updating. I freaking want to kill the screen (if that were possible) Nothing seems to make it work.
