Even IF you could do all of this, (sounds a little over ambitious for a beginner) why not put a newer, cheaper console in there which regular people might consider playing like an N64.

small voltmeter

is there a way to build or buy a cheap small voltmeter? I would like one on my portable as a way to check the voltage on my battery so I dont burn out the PSOne Screen fuse. I just need it to tell me if the battery was too much voltage. (yes I know what a fuse does but it wont work in this situation...

will a N64 by any chance run longer on 8 1.2v 2500 milliamp AA batteries =9.6v at 2500 milliamps vs. 6 1.2v 2500 milliamp AA batteries =7.2v at 2500 milliamps? I got them all wired as to increase their voltage not amprage and this output goes directually to a TI 3.3v switching regulator converter, d...

well... since the rechargible AA batteies are 1.2v, I got a 8 battery holder and placed made 2 dummy batteries (2 conductive peices of metal shaped like a battery) along with 6 batteries to make a 7.2v charge. In the end, I bought 3 packs of 4 rechargible batteries so as i had two battery packs. als...

A good source of batterys i found is rechargible AA's. The ones I got are 2500 miliamps which could theroticalyl power it for 1.5 hours per battery pak...

I just got my NOAC and am portabalizing it. I followed everyone elses instructions on how to hook it up but I can't make it work.
