It's not as big as a psone screen. Use the hipgear if you want to save space and power.

Everything can cause cancer these days... Cellphones, eggs, solder, roofplates (no seriously!), bondo(?), laptops, video game consoles, pc's, french fries, etc...

You might just as well stay in house all day and never eat anything but fruit and vegetables.

And because there's no power plugs on the beach it's going to have to be battery powered. Now here's where the problem lays. I can't find a ...

pro's: + really small and consumes less power then original snes + easier to open ( :P ) + cartridge slot is easier to de-solder + good reproduction of the snes (good sound and picture) + has a built in noac + 2 controllers included (so you don't have to buy a new one if you break any in the process...

Try checking if any of the components are loose.

-->If the light goes out after some time it might mean that a capacitor is decharging too quickly. So maybe one of the capacitors is loose. (The lower the capacitance the faster it decharges)

I have another question :) Are those buttons you used flat on top or are they like the original Genesis/Megadrive controller (meaning diagonal).
It always pissed me off that I wasn't able to use those buttons cause they would stick out really akward if I put them in.

There's lots of pics up in the Snes forum. The differences in working with a snes mini and a Fc Twin are really not that big. If you have the book and all the information about the Snes mini, you'll understand most of the FC Twin circuitry. It's just smaller.

I don't get why you guys still want a Snes Mini...
The FC Twin is smaller, has 2 controllers, has a NOAC included with it and it's about the same price (new) as a 2nd hand Snes Mini!
