GD-Rom Pin out diagram
On both the GD-Rom controller board and the Mobo there is a point on the board that corresponds to each trace under the the connector for the GD-Rom. I know that some people have given up work on their Dreamcast portables because they have torn up a trace on the board. Well now hopefully those peopl...

Re: The Dream Tablet *56k* New pictures added
Well rather than starting another pointless post I figured I would post this in here. I just recently left home to go back out to college and the Dream Tablet made it through airport security. The guy looked at it for a good minute or so and then pushed it out of the xray and looked at it and sent i...

or even this one which I found on the forums as posted by another user: http://www.ebuybatteries.com/product/camcorder_batteries/Canon/3_Canon-BP-945-battery_Canon+BP-911.htm 6000 mAh at 7.4 volts for 32 dollars plus shipping (minimum 6 dollar shipping charge). With that said, are there any better ...

If your talking about on the ATX pinout I believe the S's you are referring to are indeed 5v.

Re: Dreamcast Power Input Pins?
I don't know if I understand what exactly you mean. All ground is is 0v. So if you are powering your dreamcast from say a Pico PSU all you need to do is connect the 12v pin to the 12v output of the Pico Psu, 5v to the 5v output, 3.3v to the 3.3v output, and the GND on the Dreamcast to the GND of the...

Re: Dreamcast Power Input Pins?
You technically don't have to hook up all three. You can just connect one. I'm not sure what benefits there are to having all 3 hooked up or if there are any. Just make sure to use like an 18 gauge wire or something. I wouldn't go to much smaller for power connections.

Re: I need some ideas for xbox 360 project
I say go for making a Tablet! It would be great to see another tablet made with some newer hardware. I would say make it so that it can be placed back on the stand and you can use it at your desk. I intended on doing this but time restraints caused me to not be able to do that. That would be awesome...

Wow that's amazing! I can't believe that it has made it that far. And I'm pretty surprised that engadget was nice about it. I pleased to see that people enjoy it and are this interested in it. I actually had so many views on my blog that it used up my 25GB bandwidth usage in these past 3 days. They ...

Re: The Dream Tablet *56k* New pictures added
Thanks for the comments everyone! I head back to college in a week so I will try to keep making stuff but things will probably slow down a bit. I'm in contact with another member though trying to see if we can make an improved/second revision of the GD-Drive so we will see how things turn out.

That's great that I made hack-a-day and gizmodo! It was nice to see that people had actually done more than just watch my video to since some information they had and some of the comments there were said weren't just in my video! I did see some people who thought that my tablet was just a pc running...

With a better camera comes better pictures. I just put some new pictures up on the first post of the Dream Tablet running Power Stone. You can actually see the screen this time.

Re: iCast: If it has a handle on the case, its a portable, right?
I have converted a DC to a tray loading drive by mounting it onto a disc tray and making a circuit to control the tray. http://modsbywerd.blogspot.com/search/label/GD%20drive That is where you can find all of my information and how I did it. Granted its not the prettiest but it works. I hope one of ...

Re: For sale: Dreamcast, broken picopsu 120, Ben's book
Man that sucks that your Pico PSU is shot. I can't believe that it is cause I know that it is diode protected against reverse polarity. I'm not sure if it is short circuited protected or not though. All I can say (cause I had some problems with my Pico Psu when I was making my portable) is to make s...
