If you are going to use epoxy, lightly rough the gluing surfaces. It doesn't bond well to incredibly smooth surfaces such as glossy plastic. But when it does bond... it's not going to come apart any time in your life time.

Epoxies stand the test of time and have zero shrinkage. Definitely structurally stable stuff! Bondo is more for minor spot filling as lots of it will shrink and crack.

Indeed, don't limit yourself by what is in the book. All you have to use is the proper voltage and make sure you have decent mAh. As long as you purchase the same male / female parts to hack the battery and the charger so they fit together, you wont have any problem if it is something different. Whe...
