Here's a pic of the insides of a Quantum Fighter Pad. It has separate boards for the abc-xyz buttons, the d-pad, the start and program buttons, the analog stick and the triggers. This makes it really easy to spread the buttons out since all I have to do is add more wire. http://ryanpoppe.com/images/...

I was looking at palmpsone.com and saw that his case was manufactured by a rapid prototyping company using a 3D printer.
