Re: Troy's Pinball - Arcade Sequel Build

I have a question about the screen you are using for the playfield. I've read it's best to have a 1080p 100hz 1:1 pixel mapping. What's the pixel mapping for this screen? Also will you be using VGA or HDMI. I was just wondering if you have setup and tested your screen to see how it looks and plays. ...

Re: Pinball

Yes I'll be happy to help out any way I can.

I'm not a professional programmer but have taken plenty of college programming courses and have an idea how a pinball OS operates.

PM me your questions and I'll try to answer them.

Re: Pinball

I think this is a great idea! I've been bouncing around ideas in my head for building a machine. There is some info about homebrew pinball machine building on the net but it's scattered about and not very detailed. I've been following the LHE blog about building a propeller pinball controller. Also ...

Re: science fair project help needed

Should be easy.

Get a arduino SD card shield. Goto arduino.cc follow the samples programs. Get some LM35 temp sensors. Google arduino+LM35, connect and copy code.

Nobody is going to do your science project for you. No matter how many plzes you use. Sorry.

cheap PCB services?

Hello, I need to have a couple PCBs made for a non-related gaming project I've been working on. Does anybody have any recommendation from personal experience? The cheaper the better. These boards are going to be double sided and it would be nice if only 1 board can be made. Yes I can google but I'm ...

Re: Sega Game Gear Stereo Speaker Mod?

Doesn't the headphone jack output stereo? If you tap the signal from there you can add another speaker. I think you can also get it from the system board but I think this would be easier. Also while you got it open replace those caps. :)

Re: game gear to tv mods

Cool, good info.

I've breadboarded mod #1 and got it to work with a PS1 screen. I've also tried mod #2 but could not get to work correctly.

Do you have a list of games that will display full screen?

Re: GameCubeMini Prototype worklog

I have a question about the video quality of the 5" Dalian Good Display.

Is it better than the PS2 screen and what's the min voltage it can run on?

Thanks!

Re: Help fixing a Vectrex

Have you tried turning the brightness knob on the back? If that doesn't work you may have a bad CPU.

Ask over here.... http://groups.google.com/group/rec.game ... topics?lnk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That's where the Vectrex experts hang out.

Re: New NESp worklog (codename: Mega Star)

OK finally got the controls working. I was planning on using a 3rd party controller called Recoton that had a glob top but I fried it when I connected it to the board because the wires were the same colors as a Nintendo but the red wire(not white) was 5 volt and I didn't check until after I connecte...

Re: Need help with NOAC and Screen Power!

What type of batteries are you going to be using? That screen is pretty cheap. Can you post pics of the insides when you get it? You can power the NOAC from a 7805. That will provide 5 volts. It should work. The screen may need a little more juice to turn on. Maybe like 5.3 V or something, really no...
