Miracle Piano
I was wondering, does any of the supporting consoles (or the gamecardridges for it) check if the miracle piano is actually there ? Or can any midi keyboard be connected to play the miracle piano games? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracle_Piano_Teaching_System" onclick="window.open(this.href);return...

Re: I'd like to start a portable - and hopefully complete it...
It's very easy. Requirements: - The ability to match a drawing to youre NES board ;) (so you can identfy the correct chip) - Its also handy to be able to count atleast to 4 (so you can clip the correct pin) - Being able to clip a piece of metal (so that you have disconnected pin4) - Optionally you s...

Re: PS2 Diskdrive replacement(or just cablerepairment)its fixed!
Fixed it, The diskdrive could be replaced to make it look brandnew, but its fully functional with the old setup. The cable from the middleplate to the reset/ejectbutton was damaged on 2 points, it was screwed in between the case, so it was broken there. Also the previous owner thought it would be ha...

Re: PS2 Diskdrive replacement(maybe more then just that help me)
So, the previous owner attempted to "fix it". The case is damaged badly. The system didn't reacted when i put the powercord in and switched it on. So i opened the case, tested the (zekering ...the part that breaks before you damage the board) its still fine. the board gives an output voltage of 036V...

Okee, well i should get it this weekend or the next (depends when he's able to drop his ps2 off).
But theres a big chance its just as easy as trying to get the diskdrive open and its back in bussiness?

PS2 Diskdrive replacement(or just cablerepairment)its fixed!
Hi, I have absolutely no idea about a PS2, but i might be able to get one (cheap). This is what i've heard about it, it was playing, his brother yanked the cable and the ps2 crashed to the floor, now the diskdrive doesn't open, and "the ps2 is not working". Could it be as simple as just replacing th...

Re: b_w_NES
Figured out why the screen looked faded out, and why it stopped working after a few attempts. Rechargable AA batteries provide only 1.2V while i expected 1.5V so that caused the problem. Bought a new battery and the project works just perfect! (6 batteries total now) I'll be making the fimo casing n...

Re: could someone confirm my ps1screen pinout?
I'm looking at this link (http://english.cxem.net/pinout/pinout28.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and it doesn't seem to match any of the pinouts we commonly use. Well, I had the idea, it is the same pinout, just the pinout 28 link leeds to the pinout on the ps adapter, i traced...

Re: could someone confirm my ps1screen pinout?
If you are having picture issues, check the ribbon cable connection, that usually helps. Make sure the screen is getting enough power too. power is Volts or Amps? As for pinouts, try these threads: Screen FAQ / useful info Thanks, i found thisone lastnight and i figured my audio isn't wired correct...

could someone confirm my ps1screen pinout?
I have the following scheme i followed, and traced back the lines I (think I) needed. I looked at this thing,( http://english.cxem.net/pinout/pinout28.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) and with my multimeter I've followed the lines to the cable. In the following sketch i've put th...

Re: b_w_NES
ITS WORKING !!!!!!! The batteries where charged during the night, connected everything and its working :D one minor thingy, the colors on the screen are well not as good as on the TV, this would be the fault of the transistor/video amp i guess? or any other thing that could cause the screen to look...
