I think my 64drive might have died,
it did have a lot of play time :/ computer still recognises it and I tried firmware updates but had no luck,
,multiple n64's now no longer read it
would the best bet be for me to open it to take a look?

a bit over my head to grasp, but does this in anyway affect framefrate?
like 4p mario kart/goldeneye/smash is rather slow would this see any improvement?

so it arrived :D :( tried two different SD cards one 1gb and one 8gb, both work on every other device i have tried. both formatted to fat32 and have the menu.bin on the root of the sd. booting up n64 shows black screen with loading thing, then goes black... if no mmc in, then that no card detected s...

Wow......
if you aren't confident in fixing it/tidying I could polish it up if your anywhere Near canberra.
so just to confirm.
N64 outputs rgb via a scart adapter (do you know if he amped the image/if its required?)
then you go to scart-vga adapter.

lol kk ive got stuff from them before that got to australia pretty quick, then got held in customs for a month. not usually at the othe end xD
