Street Fighter 2 arcade hacks
I've been romhacking street fighter 2 for the arcade. Here's proof that they work on an actual cps1 arcade pcb: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIOSN04h6zA Here's the non-serious hack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=si5Xn97LtgM Here's the serious hack that's very playable: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Street Fighter 2 arcade bootleg m5 running on a CPS1
Okay before I get into details let me explain what made this mod so darn complicated. The Street Fighter 2 M5 arcade hack is a brilliant hack, but this hack was only released on a bootleg pcb and it was never released on the capcom cps1 system which is what normal street fighter 2 ran on. The bootle...

Re: Super FX proper overclock
Me and doug stumbled across a way to get starfox 1 running even faster:

I hope this's enough evidence to satisfy most hardcore trolls that I actually do know what I'm doing and talking about.

Super FX proper overclock
Here's the original and ever so popular superfx overclock by marshallh: http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=7680&start=0 This mod doesn't overclock anything...I tried this mod and I got games to either underclock or just match the original speed. Even using a 200 mhz 2 pin oscillator the ...

Re: Overclocking SuperFX
Sorry for the massive bump but I've made a few discoveries regarding this overclock. I really wanted to overclock starfox 1 since that's one of my favourite games. Me and a friend collected/built 3 different versions of the game. The first version is the original mario chip based cartridge. The seco...

Re: My modified av famicom (s-video, rgb, bassy stereo sound)
I think I took those screenshots from a composite modded nes 2. I think the video from the av famicom didn't have that bending up top. It doesn't show up on my tv though only on my capture card so I didn't really care.

If it needed to cool it would probably be bolted to a heatsink. I think it's huge to make people think it's like an official one

Sega genesis model 1 with a cxa1645
Basically here's a breakdown explanation of what I know about sega genesis hardware: When it comes to audio most revisions of the model 1 sega genesis have the best audio. I didn't realize that there's a difference in audio quality between the genesis 1 and the genesis 2 until I picked up my first m...

Re: Metallica Man's Comission Projekt!
wait you don't have a desoldering iron? I couldn't live without mine. Also how did you get the slot out of the pcb without a desoldering iron? Also how'd you get the rf box off? Solder braid? I managed to get my rf box fairly easy with just a desoldering iron you just need to be patient enough for a...

Re: Metallica Man's Comission Projekt!
Looks okay so far. Just so you know it's very easy to desolder the expansion port using the cheapo desoldering iron from radio shack. Proper desoldering does take some practice (I did it wrong for a while before getting the right idea). Now I can easily desolder anything that's through-hole with jus...
