Re: Super NES Only Plays in Monochrome...Help!!!
OK, so a freaky thing just happened, which I have no natural explanation for... ...the color is back on my SNES gameplay. Like I said earlier, I have no knowledge of circuitry, so all I did was open the case and take some of the screws out to look at the motherboard. I didn't unplug anything except ...

Re: Super NES Only Plays in Monochrome...Help!!!
Well, the offer's still open, if you're serious about knowing how to fix my system. Just email me an address to ship it to, and I'll include payment for return shipping as well.

Re: Super NES Only Plays in Monochrome...Help!!!
I did both PM and email, asking for your address in the latter if you were willing and able to fix my system. You never wrote back.

Re: Super NES Only Plays in Monochrome...Help!!!
I sent a PM to Metallica Man X, but he never responded. If anyone else is interested in repairing this system for me, please let me know. Thanks again!

Re: Super NES Only Plays in Monochrome...Help!!!
I have the gamebits and standard screwdrivers, but I know nothing about complex circuitry. When I look at those boards, all I see is green, silver, and black. The abbreviations and such are gibberish to me. I have Ben's book, but that's all about the extensive stuff. I just want the color back on my...

Re: Super NES Only Plays in Monochrome...Help!!!
I'm using the standard RWY multi-out, that has composite cables on the other end. I don't know anything about fixing this system, nor do I have the necessary tools for doing so. I was hoping Ben or another user would fix it if I paid for shipping both ways.

Super NES Only Plays in Monochrome...Help!!!
I bought a refurbished SNES two years ago, and last night all the color vanished from the gameplay. I tried two different sets of multi-out AV cables, on two different "picture tube" TV sets...no luck. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks for your time.

Re: Where to Buy Gamebit / Security Screws?
Almost another year gone, and still no reliable source for these. I found some screws that were about 25% too small once, but that's it. I don't even know the full technical specs for the original screws; any more suggestions?

Re: Replacing the shell for the GBA SP 101?
My main question is whether there's any difference in the shell itself, between the 001 and 101 models. My original post shows the 3rd-party site I found for buying one, but I wanted to see if anyone had used them before.

Re: Replacing the shell for the GBA SP 101?
I have a Paypal account, but its been so long since I used it that I don't remember the password. I just don't want anyone online to have any access to my bank info but me.
Anyway, back on topic: has anyone has any experience with replacing GBA SP shells?

Re: Where to Buy Gamebit / Security Screws?
I'm still looking for suitable replacement screws, that I can use for the NES, SNES, and N64 carts. I know some folks use Phillips heads now, but what size do I need? I've looked at electronics stores, but haven't found anything.

I don't trust a lot of people with my bank info, so I don't use Ebay.

Re: Replacing the shell for the GBA SP 101?
Yeah I found one at a local video store for $60. They had 3 of the standard AGS-001 units, and a single 101, too. The latter is pearl blue, and scratched all over with some paint chips, but it still works fine.

Replacing the shell for the GBA SP 101?
Hey, all. I haven't been here for quite a while, but I recently found one of the backlit GBA SP's, and wanted to replace the outer shell (its scratched like crazy). I found a website called Gaming Generations, that sells a replacement shell, but I don't know if there's any differences with the 101 m...

Re: Universal Game Cases?
It's been about a month since my last post in this thread, s I thought I'd bump it up. Has anyone had some experience with these cases?
