Take a look at Smooth-Cast series of 2 part urethane plastics. You mix them together and pour into a mold and a short while later, they emerge as solid plastic parts. http://www.smooth-on.com/Urethane-Plastic-a/c5_1120_1209/index.html How hard/sturdy does this plastic become? Could it be used for a...

Audio Amplifier - Best Kind? Suggestions?
Looking for a audio amp with volume control to use in a portable console. XBox 360 with internal speakers and stereo headphone jack.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Everyone uses them but I haven't seen a style/brand/website that anyone says works best.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Thanks for the info guys! The fans are held by hot glue. JB weld would be a terrible thing to use since it's permanent. They are connected to any 12V source on the 360's motherboard or the 12V line that goes to the monitor. Ben said the vents on the bottom are probably more for show than function, b...

Stainless Steel vs Aluminum
Looking to make a XBox 360 laptop. Have a friend that works at a machinist shop and can get me some Stainless or aluminum. I like the look of stainless because I wasn't going to paint the metal, but am a little concerned if it might cause any heat issues. Will probably use metal for top and bottom p...

You want to be able to plug the stock HD in, but not right to the motherboard, right? You could desolder the connector off the motherboard and move it to where you want it. I think that the only place you could get those connectors is off of other 360s and HDs. I was looking for a cable to plug thi...

Xbox 360 Hard Drive Cable
Anyone know if there is a premade cable made to connect a stock HDD to the stock HDD Mobo port? Or of a place to get the connectors for each side? A cable that combines the SATA Data and power into one cable to connect the two ports shown below. I want to use my stock HDD on a case mod I'm working o...
