Thanks Minkster, figured I'd use the extra space in the top for the batteries and battery controler board. :) No LED mod on the screen and I get about 3 hours of playtime on it :D Next paycheck, I'll see if i can order that Retrocon from madcatz.

I have made a PS@ portable, I used a slimline (MUCH easier than using the older chunky ps2) and actually mine is in a bit more of a laptop format...*shrugs* figured most of it on my own, but i referenced both Ben's project and SegaSonicFan's plans. You might try starting there.

I also have a functional PS2p. it aint pretty, but I went for Segasonicfan's style... realy right now, it's in several pieces, (havent really put much into redesigning the case) the batery i havent hacked yet, and it attaches with a cord, as does the controler, and the ps1 screen and slimline are mo...

the wall adapter that comes with the ps2 slimline will run it. all you have to do is run a + & - line to the adapter on the mobo. (that's what I have done with mine, although i put an on off switch so that i can still use the ps2 with a tv & not have the screen running.)

Hey, I was looking around for 3mm white LED's and found these on an automotive site... I was thinking of doing the LED mod for my PS2p, (using segasonic's guide) the site says that they are 7000mcd's and thought they might be good for the crappy light issue...
