I know that the 3DS doesn't actually use head tracking technology, because you don't have to wear anything on your head to use it. That being said, the 3DS won't have a way of knowing where your head is (unless it uses the camera to track the shape of your head, which is unlikely). I merely stated ...
Remember HDC, that a lot of developers/publishers shop their screenshots before releasing them to the press. I didn't think the trailer looked as good as those pics, but definitely looked better than PS1. I think the idea was to make it looks very similar to the N64 game though, right? and I'm sure ...
Yeah, the only thing that really impressed me this year was the 3DS. It seemed to be the only thing that was actually a complete and new technology. I imagine that it's going to be something like Head Tracking . I don't have much faith in the new 360, only because I (as do many of you, I'm sure) ha...
Actually, the Jasper uses closer to 100w. I'm waiting to see what the new 360 uses. Also, the norm for a monitor is 20-30w, so tack that onto the total. I'm sure there'd be room enough in the case with this new motherboard. I've been wanting to try battery power for a while now, but don't have the f...
First you need to look at your monitor. Determine if it has a VGA or DVI port. If you're using the Westinghouse, then it has both. Now look at your Xbox 360. Determine if it has just a standard trapezoid-shaped A/V port or if it also has HDMI. If it just has the standard A/V port, then the easiest w...
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by equipment. You really just need the monitor and probably a VGA adapter off eBay. you could probably use a pinout and wire it yourself and save a few bucks. If you mean solder, iron, wires, etc, then that's something you need to find out as you go. the list is to...
good luck finding the Westinghouse for a decent price. They're getting pretty rare these days. I like it, though. It's easy to work with. They do make HDMI-DVI adapter's and they're pretty cheap on eBay. Remember to get the separate audio adapter because the 360 doesn't do sound through HDMI. Micros...
I'm a bit concerned about your setup there. any specific reason why you chose that small heatsink for the CPU or why you needed to rotate them 90 degrees? I would suggest beefing up that heatsink a bit and relocating those caps near it for better airflow if you keep it like that.
