Oxzgen's Easy Cartridge Slot Relocation Guide
Oxzgen's Easy Cartridge Slot Relocation Guide Heyo, Due to the fact that I have been getting private messages about my methods, I've decided to make a guide to EASILY relocate a cartridge slot without the mess of wires that would normally ensue a slot relocation. This method does away with the worr...

Re: Porta64/nPort/nCore - LOG [UPDATED]
I've been reading around and I really don't see why people don't use my method of relocating the slot... It is neat, no solder mess, it is easilly removable so that you can work around it, it can easily be flexed around the N64, you can flip it around and the cord is really thin and doesn't take up ...

Re: Nintendo 64 laptop: in progress
How do I relocate the expansion pack? It looks insane, but I know you need to do it to make a good portable ... Desolder it, but then it looks like there are two rows of pins to solder, it just looks confusing. How can you say that! If it's a problem of it sticking up, there are many things you cou...

Re: Troubleshooting Your N64
... -Check for little specks of solder that could be shorting something on the board. If it's on one of the main chips, that could ruin the N64, but if it's on a smaller component, just remove or desolder it, and try again. ... This really helped me. Don't give up on your N64 if you see solder on t...

Re: Porta64/nPort/nCore - LOG [UPDATED]
Alright I have the batteries wired up and what I am assuming is charging. So, my question is "Does a red LED light mean that it is charging or that there is an error in my wiring?" And should I be charging the batteries with a full 9 volts or is 7.5 volts (using the power adapter that came with the ...

Re: Porta64/nPort/nCore - LOG [UPDATED]
Hey, does anyone know which side of the terminal on the battery circuitry I should wire up to the charger port and which side I should wire to the N64/screen? The batteries are Polaroid BT-42/41, the same as are on the L64. Don't say "Try PMing Marshall" or "Search the forums;" spare me the frustrat...
