Yeah you can do that but the battery life wont last that long since the gamecube does like 2.4A (Min) and 2.5A (Max)
I think thats how many Amps it does :L

I didn't want to post any worklogs until it was finished I designed this before we was able to use a wiikey so it uses the standard Gamecube Disk Drive Maybe in the next revision i shall use the wiikey

Diagrams you mention on my site were by Skyone. Many of us have used his diagram to wire the regulators, successfully
