Mods in the Museum Area
Guys, thought I'd reiterate my usual offer for anyone selling mods and projects for classic consoles in Ben's area. I will be happy to advertise your mods up in the museum area and direct people where to get them. In the case of mod kits, I only ask for a donation of your kit for me to mod the relev...

Re: MGC 2010 HYPE thread
I'm kind of hoping they move it back to the Olympia next year. The different areas were spread out all over the hotel, but the areas themselves were quite cramped. The vendor hall was especially cramped with the pinball area ranking a close second. We moved from the Olympia precisely so we could ge...

"Ben's next project is going to be a Bill Paxton strapon."
Re: Question on Holocaust.
I have a new favorite member. Marty where did you learn all this? Get any sort of history degree or are you just an avid reader on the subject? It comes with the territory of being raised in an orthodox Jewish family, and having members that were deeply effected by it. You start to take an interest...
Re: Question on Holocaust.
My apologies. I honestly didn't mean any offense. My choice of words were pretty poor it would seem. But then, this a touchy subject for many, and it's hard not to sound offensive with anything that can be said, no matter how you say it. Again, my most humble apologies to you and all others who may...
Re: Question on Holocaust.
Is there any quote where a nazi admits to the holocaust, what they did, or anything of that variation? If anyone knows of one it would be great. (Not that it was great, finding the quote would be great) im trying to prove the holocaust was real for a history project and this would be amazing eviden...
Re: Question on Holocaust.
I'm not saying lots of peeps weren't murdered before then, I'm simply referring to the point were the most people were taken out all at once--the point that most tend to refer to as "the holocaust". The point "most tend to refer to as holocaust" is something my family and close family friends actua...

Re: MGC 2010 HYPE thread
That's a good question Marty. Perhaps it has to do with the brightness / contrast of CRT (much higher than LCD), but again, since that would vary by TV you'd think it wouldn't matter. Did some more research. Seems it's a sync issue, nothing more, and could be fixed on the coding side. The refresh r...

Re: MGC 2010 HYPE thread
Well, there is one catch with those flatties......and that is.....NO DUCK HUNT. Which could be a problem, cause we all know how awesome that game is  SO! I could also bring a smaller CRT TV along if needed. Just revisiting this after thinking about this during a recent discussion I had with R...

Re: MGC 2010 HYPE thread
For an LCD or Plasma you could try jury rigging some sort of Wii like motion sensor setup, and translate/generate the required signals in to the console.

Re: MGC 2010 HYPE thread
Hey all, looking forward to the return of the Ben Heck Experience area at the show, and looking forward to our show (the MGC) being even better than last year. Regardless of a certain other corporate show looking to expand their market presence and adding it the same weekend as ours. ;) This is goin...

Re: The Benheck.com Experience at Midwest Gaming Classic 2009
Just in an addition - I was recently graciously contacted by a member of this group interested in showing off Amigas, which I've decided to put by the ECCC guys. If anyone else that's coming has any vintage computer equipment they'd like to bring and display, feel free to contact me directly. Any ma...
