Unfortunately showing DVD's in public is illegal. If you read the back of any DVD box or on the disc it states that DVD's are for personal use only. The only way you would be able to show DVD's would be to pay royalties to the studios and you would have to contact them directly. As far as old movies...

Basicly what you want is your gamecube to play PS2 games? Not gonna happen. For one the Cube dosn't have the power to play PS2 games as well as PS2 games use a completly diffrent hardware format than Gamecube games. Heres where the costs is a lot, a blub for those peojectors can range from $100-$400 depending and lasts around 4000-6000 hours. THats why like my projector.
