Re: Kerbal Space Program

I've poked at it a bit and kinda hit a standstill in career mode.
I need more research so I can do more things so I can get more research, but I'm quickly running out of research I can still do.
But it's pretty fun.

Re: XBOX case mod

An xbox motherboard is approx 8*9*2 inches, you shouldn't have problems fitting it in there. The PSU is about 8*2.5*2 The two together will probably fill the footprint of the PS3. If you keep the slot loading thing going, you may run into problems getting everything to line up right, though. After h...

Re: ps3 laptop - the monitor!!!!

Luckily, PS3 and X360 games aren't really developed for 1080p, so for the most part, they'll look just as good on 720p (and sometimes better) Also on a screen that small, having bigger text will be nice. I'd just stick with 720 unless you plan to also hook this up to your normal laptop as an externa...

Re: ps3 laptop - the monitor!!!!

I've bought from NJYTouch before, and their product is good. There are a few things about it that I don't like, though. I've also bought from a company called Clientop Industrial Co.,Ltd. I was much more satisfied with their product, but it cost me significantly more. -That said, I had rather in dep...

Re: ps3 laptop - the monitor!!!!

Depends on what matters most to you.
A laptop screen is going to be thinner, but requires a good bit of work, and decent communication skills to get to work.
A stand alone screen is pretty straightforward, but is going to be significantly thicker.

Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table

Considering the near complete lack of feedback you've gotten, I'd just like to say that I've been following this, and it look's freaking awesome. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Also, I think it'd be nice if you plugged up the screw holes and smoothed out the sides real well, that polished and s...

Re: N64 component (aka YUV aka YPbPr) output

The difference between s-video and composite is totally worth the $5 for a cable that works with the SNES and GC, too. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Dvideogames&field-keywords=gamecube+svideo+cable" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Of course, I've mostly use...
