@bacteria Oh I've haven't heard of AcidMods before. I might try them... if I can be bothered making a new account just for this :) I agree about the buttons though, I'm not really finished, so I probably will repaint them. And actually I haven't lacquered it yet, since the paint is /still/ drying. :...

Painted GoW DS

I'm kinda wary of posting this because 1) The paint finish is rubbish and 2) I feel like it's not enough of a mod to be well... a mod (I was gunna add red LEDs but they were too big :( ) Anyway... my portable N64 broke. Again. So I decided to do a more simple mod that would result in me feeling like...

What Gamecube games have you got?
Annnnnnd do you have any gamecube/n64 controllers you'd sell separate from the consoles?
Oh.. and do you have any N64 memory paks? (Not the expansion paks.. the plugs-into-the-controller-and-saves-games kind.)

You want the cover for an N64 expansion port? You can have mine if you want.
Just PM me your address and I'll send it to you.

I haven't got anything else you want, sorry.

Well it's just I have a bunch of spare headphone sockets lying about.
I'd rather not buy a new one when I could just use the ones I already have.
Thanks anyway.

Headphones

I was following one of the wiring diagrams (I don't know whose) in the N64 portable info thread but then, after soldering together the headphone cables on the PSone screen (and getting a bit more confident about this whole thing), I decided I actually wanted a headphone socket. Getting sound to a he...

Thanks for the advice and the link! And on your advice I just made the link neater (I tried using the URL tag before but I guess I did it wrong...) But now I have more questions  I just scavenged a Ni-Cd 9.6v, 650mAh battery from an old RC car, so I'm wondering if this would be okay to use (I ...

Power related questions

Okay, noobish questions about power. I know the PSone screen runs at 7.5volts and I know the N64 needs 3.3volts... So if I use a rechargeable 7.2v battery with this would it work (with the expansion pak inserted)? And if does work, could I use the PSone adapter to recharge the battery/play off the m...
