I was just scoping the forum but I don't have much time, all I can tell you is that the APU does not process midi data. It is sample-based and the spc700 tells the dsp what to do. I remember some choppy midi->snes converter called mss(?) was written by Grog and some dudes, you could look that up but...

This from Kurt_ - from a pm that talks about the batteries he recommended here With a litium ion charger. I got this one, and it works wonderfully. http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1121 Or if you want just the guts, and to save $10, get the circuitry only, minus the c...

Thinking of embarking on the journey..
I'm thinking about building an snes portable. I understand the decisions are up to me in the end but I am looking for recommendations. I am thinking about using either a PS1 screen, a Casio EV-4500, or a hipgear screen. Any raves and rants over them that you feel like sharing here? I hear that an rg...

frankly, I don't see how gamemaker has the powers to interface with serial port cues, although I may be wrong. It can definitely be done in C/C++. There is a decent parallel port API I've heard about called ParaPort, which lets you access the LPT pin by pin. I think with this and c++ it'd work perfe...

Re: Question
Do the importers work with memory cards too? Can i save imported games with my US Memory card? I think you can, I have never really seen a genuine "import" memory card. They all seem alike to me. Even on lik-sang, all the mem cards are american as well except for like 1 I think. I think you'll be f...

if you purchase some kind of mod chip or boot loader your US Dreamcast will be able to play games from other countries. http://www.lik-sang.com/list.php?nav=over&category=42& Check out that page for various products which will allow you to play these games. Lik-Sang also sells imported games, but th...
