No good on either count. I turned the volume all the way up and all I could hear was the faint static of the speakers, nothing from the system itself. And as far as the batteries go, I just tried running it using the wall power supply and it still didn't work. Assuming it is something on the N64 mot...

Audio Issues
The audio on my N64 just died today. It was working fine yesterday, but now all of the sudden it's not. The video is fine and it's definitely not the screen. I've tried using the AV out cord and it still doesn't work on a TV. The 5V line is also okay, it read something like 4.99V. Any ideas? Is it p...

PSOne Screen Button
I am in need of one of the little purple buttons that comes with the PSOne screen. I have the two "-" buttons and one of the "+" ones, so I'm looking for another "+". If anyone happens to have a spare, please let me know. Thanks!

Cart Slot Relocation
I guess I'm not really here for advice, I just want to vent. I just finished my fifth cart slot relocation. And it didn't work. All the connections are good, but the damn thing doesn't turn on. Just a blue screen with a slight flicker when the switch is flipped. When I did my first relocation, every...

Official N64 Controller Z Button
So I'm about finished with my portable N64, except I need a Z button. I've used parts from two different controllers, but I seem to have lost the Z button on one of them and now I'm in need of another (I need two total). If anyone has a spare I would be incredibly grateful and would be happy to send...

Where do the numbers come from? The console sales numbers you see on the front page of NexGen Wars are estimates, and are not intended to represent exact, down to the minute sales as only Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony know the exact sales figures of their respective consoles. What we do here at Nex...

I have a feeling that's a typo. They probably meant to say 1500mAh, not 15000. I don't even think it's possible to get that kind of capacity out of just two cells, that kind of energy density is far greater than what is available just about anywhere else on the market. Plus the fact that they're so ...

It may depend on which version of the Xbox you're using, but I've done this three times and I've never had to solder anything. You just have to put in an Xbox Live game with the system connected to the internet and it will automatically update the BIOS to the correct version. After that, you can use...
