Re: Can I do something with the PlayStation 1 (not the PSone)?
I think the original PS1 had a separate board for the power supply while the PSone had it integrated into the motherboard. That's probably why most people using the later for portables, but I'm sure you could still do something with a older PS1....

Not only voltage, but amperage. You gotta have juice to back up those volts!Zeflis wrote:AA size batteries end up a lot bigger than using lipos, plus you need a LOT of them to get the required voltage.

Re: XBOX problem
The motherboard hasn't been modded, correct? As I mentioned before it is really hard to diagnose with your given information.scotty0990 wrote:As far as I can tell, the motherboard is fine (but then again, I don't know how to tell).

Re: XBOX problem
If it frags it could be a number of things. Has the xbox ever been opened? In my experience a damaged port shouldn't cause the xbox to frag. When the xbox blinks green/red it is a generic hardware error indicator. Usually the first place to look for issues the motherboard.

Re: Xbox, how to slim and cut down power?
Okay, thanks. But what can i remove apart from the case that can slim it down? Remove the DVD drive unless you absolutely need it. The heat sinks can be replaced with slimmer ones (like the iceberg pro 4), the PSU can be replaced with a microATX one, and you could probably knock down some of the ca...

Right now its being sold as-is but I think the CPU and RAM ...
