Re: Can I do something with the PlayStation 1 (not the PSone)?

Some people use their PS1s as hi-fi stero systems if you are into that sort of thing. Got some info on it here

Re: Can I do something with the PlayStation 1 (not the PSone)?

I think the original PS1 had a separate board for the power supply while the PSone had it integrated into the motherboard. That's probably why most people using the later for portables, but I'm sure you could still do something with a older PS1....

Not only voltage, but amperage. You gotta have juice to back up those volts!

The motherboard hasn't been modded, correct? As I mentioned before it is really hard to diagnose with your given information.

Re: XBOX problem

If it frags it could be a number of things. Has the xbox ever been opened? In my experience a damaged port shouldn't cause the xbox to frag. When the xbox blinks green/red it is a generic hardware error indicator. Usually the first place to look for issues the motherboard.

Re: Xbox, how to slim and cut down power?

Okay, thanks. But what can i remove apart from the case that can slim it down? Remove the DVD drive unless you absolutely need it. The heat sinks can be replaced with slimmer ones (like the iceberg pro 4), the PSU can be replaced with a microATX one, and you could probably knock down some of the ca...

Look at your thread. Now back at mine. Now back at yours and now back at mine. Sadly, your thread isn't mine. But maybe if you bought something from my thread your thread could be as cool as mine.

Re: Computer Parts and stuff...

I'm pretty sure the CPU is a 3 ghz but I dunno if its a celleron or a pentium and it has 2x 1GB sticks of kingston RAM (I have some slower 2x 512 MB sticks too). Right now its being sold as-is but I think the CPU and RAM ...
